I've reworked a pair of jeans that had had the legs chopped.

I've left a slight fishtail on the back hem and left the visible mending on show, there is part of a vintage cushion cover in the patches.

I hate waste, and when a friend was throwing out clothing she had used in her repair business, I couldn't let them go. So I now turn the trouser tops into skirts.filling in and adapting with the fabric I have in store.
They're embellished with simple running stitch in a #kantha #sashiko style
