The Moon and the Hare Textile Art Giclee Print

This is a Giclee print of one of my felted textile art paintings.

I created the original painting from wet and needle felting techniques.
The base and background was created using wet felting with merino wool.
I then added the detail with needle felting and finally add some hand stitching.
I have included some images of the original felted painting.

This Giclee print is on 300gsm fine art paper and comes with a white acid free mount.
It has a cellophane wrapper.

The print is sign by me - wendy early.

I loved creating this original felted piece,
especially the brown hare and the worms and creatures in the soil.
It was inspired by themes of ecology and how wildlife is interconnected to the fields and soil.
I used lots of felting wool to create texture and depth.
The moon was highlighted using shiny white and silver Rayon thread.

The Giclee print is very high quality and has picked up on the individual stitches.
