My inspiration often comes from the Isle of Skye and the old white-washed croft cottages and houses that can still be seen standing against the elements in parts of the island. Many have rusty corrugated iron roofs and thick stone walls, providing shelter.
Though I love all kinds of stitchery, my first love will always be patchwork and quilting.
