Medium size urn, up to 150 cubic inches (2.4 litres) please contact me for other sizes and costs.

Bespoke urn or tribute decorated with hand sketched illustrations designed especially to your requirements, the sketches shown are suggestions of the type of thing I design and make - you will want to get in touch to explain what you are looking for.

CUSTOM ORDER – A TRIBUTE PIECE, decorated and glazed urn thrown and hand built in my studio in Kent. Illustrated by hand with ceramic slips, glazed and fired.

To produce your custom order, I must have some information from you (please email it to me):

Of course I need to know about the person for whom this will be a tribute or urn.

Any special text that must appear on the jug for example: name, dates, story, motto etc

Any other information for example about special places (a favourite walk, countryside, hobbies or favourite pub). In this way I build up a story about the person and their loves.

Prices start from around £1350, please contact me to discuss your needs and timing.

Delivery is by insured Royal Mail Special Delivery to UK which transfers to an overseas buyer's national signed-for postal service.

Please note, if ordering from abroad there may be customs duties to pay (they vary from country to country, state to state), these are the responsibility of the buyer. Olley Pottery is not responsible for any import duties, taxes etc. that may be levied by countries outside the United Kingdom.

I hope you like my work, I'm a designer and potter working in Kent and you'll see that I have a particular interest in ceramics with Labradors and retrievers (actually most animals and country matters)! All of my work, from the smallest cup to the largest platter is an entirely hand made and illustrated one-off. I throw much of my work on the potter's wheel and then illustrate with ceramic slips and glazes before firing in my kiln to create impervious ceramics. This is a bespoke, commissioned piece, I will illustrate it to tell the story of a special life. My interest here in Kent is the wonderful wooded and downland countryside, the walks where I take my Labrador, the beautiful and ever-changing sky, the Spitfire fighter that regularly flies overhead out of Biggin Hill. If these things resonate with you perhaps I can help to create a special piece of ceramics to hold your memories. Of course, I don't expect to be illustrating my life, but that of your cherished ones.
