Item details
I visited the studio of fellow letterpress printer Thomas Gravemaker in Amsterdam at Easter and had the chance to do some printing on his lovely presses. I created this poster there, which required some tricky locking up of the individual wooden letter blocks to create the topsy-turvy 'ripped up' effect of the text. As you can see from the images, the print goes through the press twice, one for each colour, with the orange text being printed first, followed by the blue.
