Welcome to SmallFlamePottery, which has just reopened on Folksy (Feb 25th 2022).
I have been selling my functional stoneware ceramics on Etsy for 3 years and have 245 sales and 72 five star reviews on Etsy > SmallFlamePottery. I'm keen to find new customers :)
I threw the set of four mugs from stoneware clay on my potters wheel and cut them off the wheel using a twisted wire. The handle was cut with a wire loop and attached when leather hard. The slip was brushed on when dry the scraffito (scratch) decoration was made with a wire loop tool made from an old guitar string. Bisque fired at 1000 C and then dipped in glaze and re-fired to 1260 C in my self-built gas kiln.
