These violins have been upcycled and turned into pieces of art using embellishments and different paint effects.

This is a 3/4 size violin. It has been stripped back and altered using clocks and cogs to give a Steampunk theme. The violin has had a base coat of gold acrylic paint and then a light grey top coat to give a crackle paint effect. Gilding has been applied in some areas to enhance detail. A coat of clear glaze has been applied over the finished violin. The strings have been replaced with Purple wire.

Each violin has a piece of chain on the back for easy wall hanging.

The bow comes separately. The screw is already in position on the bow and is easily screwed onto the violin with a pre-drilled hole.

Please note - This violin cannot be played. It is decoration only and is NOT suitable for children.
