This clock houses a quartz skeleton movement set into an English Ash and Pine laminated body which outlines the movement. The skeleton quartz movement is a 100mm diameter with a silver surround and black hands.
The pear is hung from a silver and green polyester cord stalk that is spliced back on itself and then stitched with green whipping twine to ensure the splice does not slip. This gives the pear a chance to swing on the stalk. The tree is a piece of eucalyptus with a branch, which has the bark removed in places, this is on an English Ash base.
Clock movement is a silver skeleton movement with black roman numerals and black hands, this requires an AAA battery.
The dimensions are 316mm high x 295mm wide x 160mm deep, depending on the position of the fruit, it weighs 1.42kgs (3lb 3ozs)
This clock is made from organic, natural, solid wood and will distort if put near a heat source such as a radiator, it will also discolour if left in direct sunlight. The item you see here is the one you will receive and I have aimed to provide dimensions which are as accurate as possible. Please note that wood is a natural product and can be affected by its environment.

This clock was a natural development from the apple clock and being goaded by the Gale girls when they were staying with us on their summer holiday in Torquay. So I just drew up a pear shape free hand then they plucked a pear leaf from our tree and I drew around it to give a real leaf shape for a pear. We then cut the shape on a bandsaw. This is a clock where the fruit will move as it’s hung on a cord.
