I love this stunning little piece, a small pyramid with a storm brewing inside, the swirls and streaks within make for a different view of a storm from each angle, there are the swirls of a hurricane, the crops that appear to be bending in the high winds, clouds skidding across the land ...... in fact whatever YOU see is within this lovely little piece, Imagination is the key to this piece, no vibrant colours to lead the way, just a monochromatic beauty on the base of a mica and glitter, blackened base.

I had made other resin items with ink, and noticed the resemblance to clouds, and windswept colours, so decided on using a monochrome effect to see how the colours would come out, the resin is put in first, then black ink is dripped into the base (these are made upside down) I then added white ink, which is heavier than any other colour and it drags the colour down and while it is moving through the resin, I use tools to swirl or sway the inks into a rough semblance of the look I want.
