I have a 10 year old son who was diagnosed with autism and adhd and he uses his blanket regularly. He will use it when feeling stessed and upset, fidgety, hyper, it helps him to sleep at night and also brings him down from any outburst.
He goes to a special needs school and is provided with taxi transport which is one of the most stressful times of the day for him so he uses his blanket on his lap just to make him feel more calmer on his journeys. I can't say enough about these blankets they are truly a blessing in our household and I don't think enough mums know about these.
My son also struggles with sleep which is where the sensory compression sheets came in and are also an absolute blessing.
