A very wearable sterling silver stacker ring designed to highlight the beautiful colour of the Amethyst gemstone. Stacker rings are fast becoming a beautiful fashion accessory, try mix and match of your favourite colours..

Due to the simplicity of design this style of ring can be worn as ‘stacking’ rings, I have various coloured gemstones available, if you have a favourite colour, please contact me and I will make a ring for you.

Amethyst is a violet/purple semi precious opaque gemstone, a Cabochon polished gemstone is best set in this way, as the rub over setting safe guards the integrity of the stone allowing for many years of enjoyment.. Amethyst is the birthstone for February

The standard finger size of my stock ring is M, if a different size is required please contact me, please note a different sized ring will add another day to the shipping time. .

I hand make a new ring when one is sold, the ring pictured is the original ring. A ring in Size M is ready to ship and we aim to post most items the next working day.

The cabochon polished Amethyst Semi-precious gemstone is 5mm in size when unset.

The ring will be in an exclusive ‘Jewellery Room’ box, placed in an organza bag and sent in a padded envelope by 1st class post.

Please note this ring is made from Sterling Silver, the metal used to make the ring weighs less than 7 grams and does not require a hallmark, the ring will be stamped 925 which denotes the purity of the metal used

This style of ring was inspired by the popularity of stacking rings, instead of plain rings the addition of colour makes for a colourful look on the finger.

How its made
A piece of 2mm Sterling Silver wire is annealed to harden the metal before being formed to the required finger size around a ring mandrel using a leather mallet, the 2mm wire is now joined together creating a ring. A flat is filed onto the opposite side to the solder before a 5mm bezel cup is soldered to the flattened section, the piece of jewellery is hand finished using traditional metal smithing techniques. Finally a 5mm Amethyst semi precious cabochon gemstone is hand set into the bezel cup. Finally 925 is stamped on the inside of the ring.
