THE CELTIC HARP

Since 1735 the Celtic Harp or Clairseach been on the obverse side of every coin from The Republic of Ireland. The harp design is exactly the same on each denomination of coin, the only difference is the size which is depicted by the size of the coin.

This harp has been hand-cut from a genuine Pre-Decimal Penny coin, All the lettering and year has been intricately cut around.

After cutting it is cleaned and polished, selectively plated with 24 carat gold and pure silver and given two coats of clear acrylic lacquer to protect it..

It comes fitted with a 18 inch gold plated chain.

A gift box is also included.

Coin Diameter - 31 mm (approx. 1 1/4")
