THE STAG

Animals, fish and birds have always been on the reverse side of Irish Pre-Decimal and Decimal coins. This Stag Pendant has been cut from a genuine Decimal Punt, or £1 coin, which was the largest Irish coin in general circulation until Ireland adopted the Euro in 2002.

The Pendant is fitted with a 19" Gold plated solid round snake chain.

A gift box is also included.

NOTE: This is quite a large coin measuring 31 mm. (approx. 1 1/4")

The Stag is one of the most noble of wild animals and the Red Deer is one of the largest.Deer, species They have played a role in mythology, religion and heraldry and so I cut this coin to be worn as a pendant representing proudness, strength speed and agility.
