As a small child growing up with a seamstress mother, I surrounded myself with fabrics, threads, button tins and browsed many haberdashery stores. I also love books, so combining the sewing and the reading seemed a good plan. Then there was the challenge of creating a bookmark that didn't fall out when moving from room to room or while travelling. This belt-type bookmark was the solution I came up with. Not only does it secure the page, but your book will lie flat and easy to transport without fear of losing the page you've got to.
