Have you ever wondered where dream catchers originated from the one's we know today are very colourful and full of bling, the native Americans made them first for there population in there camps. They never made them like we do , they made them from natural elements, twigs, natural feathers twine. They have a story about dream catchers about the spider that was saved by one of the Squaws and the spider promised that he would spin the web's for the dream catchers to show his appreciation. Dream catchers are a great gift for any occasion. I have a large one in my bedroom that I would never do without. This dream catcher is made from a hoopla and bound in green and white ribbon, the web is made with embroidery thread in two tone green. There are two colours of green ribbons ,feathers, beads, white lace and a small butterfly attached to the hoopla. The diameter of the dream catcher is 55 cms and the length from top to the bottom of the hanging decorations is 121 cms long.

The dream catcher is a beautiful creation that looks great in any room l make them because they are mystical and full of wonder everyone needs an escape from every day stuff. I find comfort in things like fantasy and things that are mysterious. I moved house once and in one of the rooms there lay a broken dream catcher it looked beyond repair. I looked at it and thought of a way to repair it wasn't easy but in the end I managed to put it back together.
