Back on 1st May… thanks for your patience!
I love to add texture to the clay using a variety of objects... wallpaper, lace, leaves and seed heads, even things like pen tops can be a source of inspiration! After the first firing I use a watery wash of oxide or underglazes, allowing the colour to pool and settle into the indented areas to further highlight the pattern.
