This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A pretty little dragonfly with green wings, a green nugget for the body and more green beads for eyes and tail.
The tail is slightly flexible (but please be gentle !) and is made from glass beads wired together.
It looks really lovely hanging in the window where it catches the light. The suncatcher hangs from a strong nylon thread which is securely attached to the top of the dragonfly. It is 4 inches wide and high.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
This will make a wonderful present especially for a child but please note that it is made of glass and is not a toy but an ornament.
The 2nd and 5th pictures are of this dragonfly and 2 other colours also for sale as separate listings.
I can make this in any colour, my only constraint is getting beads with big enough holes to take the wire tail.
I made the first of these as a 'bow' to attach to my lovely Grandson George's christening present. Liked it so much I made another sold that so made another... and then another..
Please note : POSTAL CHARGES : . I always part-refund postage via Paypal where more than one piece is ordered to allow for combined postal charge. I do this as soon as I receive your order.
