This necklace not only looks stylish and attractive, but also is a functional tool in the outdoors. It is by definition a highly portable tool. It is designed to be worn, especially when out on camping trips or adventures, but also looks cool.

The necklace includes a small fero rod and steel striker from which its possible to create very hot sparks in order to light a fire, whether its out in the fields, woods or home.

But that's not all...
This necklace is produced using natural cordage made from 100% nettle! Nettle cordage is strong and rustic, plus it means this necklace is plastic free! The toggle is wooden. The beads are soapnut pods. So this tool is more suitable for the natural places in which it may be used. A great ethical gift for someone who spends time outdoors.

The length of the necklace is adjustable by untying the cord and trimming. Any questions please ask.

The product was made because I saw a need for ourdoors products more in keeping with the natural worlds they're meant for. I use as natural materials as possible, with colours that blend with the surroundings of a wood, or field. These products are by their definition portable, as well as being useful addition to a camping kit.
