These felted drier balls have been made from woollen fibres with a few multicoloured silk strands added to the surface as decoration. This listing is for a set of 3 balls. An environmentally friendly and long lasting alternative to fabric softener - no chemicals and no plastic container and allergy free. Drier balls also reduce drying time and hence electricity bills. When added to your tumble drier the wool wicks away the moisture from the clothes speeding up the drying process whilst the light thumping action fluffs up your laundry, softening it in the process. They also reduce static. For fragrant laundry just pop a couple of drops of your favourite scented oil onto the balls before using.
Each of these balls is approximately the size of a tennis ball and weighs approximately 20g. It is recommended to use 2-6 balls in your drier dependent on the size of the load. Three balls will be suitable for a medium load.

These balls are firmly felted using 100% woollen fibres (not yarn) and will not unravel
