This Vintage style clock bears our signature detail quote about time, saying “Nature gives to every time and season some beauties of it’s own” It’s diameter measures 30cm. It is a hand built and painted ceramic clock in underglaze paints which has then been fully glazed and earthenware fired. It is a self supporting clock which hangs off its working mechanism. Functions off a regular AA battery.

I’m heavily influenced by the natural world when working and particularly love the beautiful vintage botanical illustrations from a bygone era which used them to record discoveries of our expanding natural world. I have tried to reproduce this style on this particular clock and recreate the sense of beautiful summers gone by.
