☆ your item will be in plastic-free packaging. However, that said, I recycle jiffy bags (which have plastic bubble-wrap lining)
☆ the glass beads in some of the designs are recycled necklaces and bracelets I find in charity shops.
☆ please do check out my Beach Plastic Jewellery range. 100% of the price you pay goes directly to the Marine Conservation Society. How cool is that!
This glorious suncatcher has been crafted with upcycled glass and ceramic beads, worn limpet shells and driftwood by using silver jewellery wire between each 4cm (approx) section, to allow for movement in a gentle sea breeze!
The main colours here are yellows, greens and blues.
It measures approximately 30cm at its widest point, and hangs to 30cm at its longest point. It hangs from a fine hemp double string.
It will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and posted in a recycled cardboard box.
I love the holes formed in the worn limpets. I love glass and how the light catches the colours. I love the gentle movement, the clunky chunky sound it makes when the breeze catches it.
It's looking fabulous hanging by my sunny window, and I bet it'll look even more fabulous by your sunny window (then I can crack on and make more!)
