A lovely little piece of genuine sea pottery, with a pattern of mauve on white, in a silver bezel setting. The necklace has a silver chain, available in a choice of lengths, and fastens with a handmade silver clasp. It carries a full UK hallmark.

The pendant is approx. 2cm high by 1.9cm wide. It hangs from a fine silver belcher chain, available in 41cm (16 inch), 46cm (18inch), or 51cm (20 inch). It fastens with a handmade silver clasp.

The sea ceramic is a jewel from the ocean. It has been smoothed by the action of the sea, so it has soft rounded edges, and a matte finish where the glaze has worn off. It is exactly as I found it on the beach - I have not cut, smoothed or polished it.

The pottery has not been glued into the setting, and is held in place by the silver bezel. Due to the nature of this style of setting, there may be fractional movement of the ceramic within the silver mount, but please be assured that it is secure.

Your necklace will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon.

This sterling silver pendant features a pretty piece of weathered sea ceramic that I found on a beach in Fife, Scotland. I have hand made a silver bezel setting to hold the ceramic, and the back of the setting has been pierced out to show its plain white rear. The sides are just turned over the pottery, to keep it in place. It's an unusual and organic piece of jewellery, perfect for those who love the sea.

Every piece of sea pottery is completely unique, so you can be sure that your necklace is a genuine one-off design. This piece is an irregular rough triangle. It has a matte surface, with just a little crazing and some pitting. The pattern is and abstract geometric design of mauve on white. The colour is a pretty alternative to the more common blue on white.
