A beautiful piece of blue and white sea pottery in a silver bezel setting forms the centrepiece of this silver chain and link bracelet. It fastens with a handmade silver toggle clasp, and it carries a full UK hallmark.
The back of the setting is flat polished silver. The sides are just turned over the ceramic, to keep it in place.
The pottery is approx. 1.3cm high by 1.6cm at the widest point. The bracelet is 17.5cm long, excluding the toggle clasp.
This item has been hallmarked by the Edinburgh Assay Office, which is your guarantee that it has been made from genuine sterling silver.
The ceramic piece has not been glued into the setting, and is held in place by the silver bezel. Due to the nature of this style of setting, there may be fractional movement of the glass within the silver mount, but please be assured that it is secure.
Your bracelet will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon.
This pretty silver bracelet is formed from a chunky silver belcher chain, and a roughly triangular piece of blue and white sea pottery that I found on a beach in Fife, Scotland. I have hand made a silver bezel setting to hold the ceramic.
This piece is an irregular triangle with a rounded base. It seems to have been in the sea for a relatively short time, as the pottery has retained its glaze, and it has an unusually smooth and shiny finish. It is a lovely crisp blue on white design, possibly a fragment of willow pattern. It is exactly as I found it on the beach - I have not cut, smoothed or polished it.
