This is a 4 ply yarn
55% SW BFL / 45% SILK....100g/400m...4/16nm

This is so pretty....a lilac base speckled with pink and purple, the mix of British Bluefaced Leicester and Silk makes for a super soft yarn.

All photographs re taken in natural light.

The yarns I use are ethically sourced form the UK and South America. I use non toxic dyes and all of the dye is exhausted into the yarn, so all that is poured away after dyeing is water.

I dye in small batches and although I take care to achieve evenness across the batch, there can be slight variation between skeins.

The inspiration for these colours came from a conversation about childhood sweets... here in England we have a sweet/candy named Parmaviolet they are lilac in colour and I think the taste is very personal..you either love them or hate them..both my Teens love them still...my husband and I...not so!
