Item details

A handmade stylish Glasses case for your sunglasses or regular spectacles. Foam Stabilizer is quilted to the exterior fabric of the case to provide a layer of protection and extra body. A layer of fusible fleece is fused to the lining fabric to add more padding and protection ensuring that your glasses are safe in your handbag or travel case. The sewn fabric case is then glued to a metal frame with a kiss clasp to keep your glasses safely enclosed when stored. Each case is approximately 4.5" x 7.5" (11cm x 19cm).

The exterior of the case is quilted Indonesian batik fabric with a honeycomb design and the lining is a coordinating orange batik. The kiss clasp frame is antique brass with a slightly larger ball-clasp.

Having made a custom backpack for of these beautiful Indonesian batik fabrics, I wanted to do more. I have made many of these eyeglass cases and use them for my own glasses and sunglasses. They are great...protect the glasses in my handbag and are easy to slip between glasses and sunglasses on the go. So the decision to make one of these lovely batiks was an obvious one.
