Indonesian batik fabrics form the structure of this fun little coin purse. Foam stabilizer is quilted to the orange batik on the central panel giving the purse nice body. The side gussets are fusible fleece and quilt weight cotton. The lining is quilting cotton also fused to fleece interfacing. The structure of this bag with the gusseting helps it hold its shape while also adding to its character with the contrasting fabrics. The Antique brass frame is attached with special glue ensuring a solid and long lasting connection.
This little purse will hold your loose change and fit easily into your handbag. It would also be just the right size for small cosmetics in a larger bag. However, it could be a fun gift for that little girl who would love to have her own purse to carry her things around.

I love the colour and depth of these Indonesian batik fabrics. I had made a beautiful backpack from these fabrics for a custom order and wanted to do something more as the fabrics are so pretty. I decided to do this little coin purse and I also have a glasses case as well. The fabrics are so vibrant they just need to be shared!
