This copper tealight holder is handmade and will hold any standard tealight (not included).
I cut the flower shape out of 0.5mm sheet copper. I then fold-form the petals, which really means folding the petal in half and hammering along the fold. The fold-forming is alternated with annealing (heating the copper up to stop the metal getting brittle). Once the petals have had enough hammering they are opened and the tealight holder pickled in acid to remove oxides that have built up on the surface from annealing. The centre of the flower is textured and then the whole thing polished before a coat of Renaissance Wax is added to protect the surface. Each tealight holder is unique - in the pictures the one shown has dark patches of oxide left, but some have very little of this.
Over time the tealight holder may darken, especially in damp or humid environments, but it can be either left to develop a patina or polished back to copper. It can be used outdoors, it will just weather faster than indoors.
The maximum diameter is about 20cm/8" and the tealight holder is about 3cm/1" high.
Copper is the UK 9th/USA 7th wedding anniversary I believe.

I really wanted to try to make a flower out of copper and so a tealight holder seemed a good option
