☆ all the seaglass and pebbles you see in my work has been used as found. Decades of rolling about in the sea has worked its beautiful magic.
☆ your item will be posted using recycled packaging, which isn't incredibly attractive, but it serves its purpose. And anyway, it's what's inside that counts. : )
I wanted to add a pop of colour to these little bits of seaglass, and by adding carefully chosen glass beads in just the right colour, I really like the result!
I love rummaging in charity shops, mainly in the jewellery section, to breakdown then upcycle glass bead necklaces and bracelets.
This keeps my carbon footprint low (by avoiding overseas purchases!), it supports the charity shop and creates something fresh and new from something old and tired.
These pretty earrings are subtly colourful, light, breezy and cheerful; they just say summertime !
