I made this purse the first time I tried machine embroidery. I have a standard sewing machine which does not have embroidery programming so I decided to experiment with sewing forwards and backwards over scraps of fabric. I soon found I could use zig-zag stitches to create cute a quirky motifs using bright fabrics.
I love the toadstool against the polka dot and the yellow with the floral fabrics!
