This stunning rectangular silver necklace features wild flowers in silver and brass, hanging from a 46cm (18 inch) silver snake chain, fastening with a silver lobster claw clasp.
This necklace features three silver meadow flowers, on a silver rectangle. The flowers are formed from sheet silver and brass, soldered onto the rectangle, whilst the stems and surrounding grasses have been impressed. The pendant was oxidised until it turned a dark slate grey, then partially rubbed back, emphasising the texture, and giving the design a beautiful mellow patina, and a slightly antique feel.
It hangs from a 46cm smooth silver snake chain, and fastens with a silver lobster claw clasp.
It is a really striking and unusual pendant, measuring 1.5cm by 3.5cm.
Wildflower meadows are a really important, and increasingly rare, habitat. This necklace features three quintessential meadow flowers: morning glory (convolvulus), buttercup, and queen anne’s lace. Morning glory is a birth flower for the month of September, whilst the buttercup is associated with the zodiac sign Virgo. This necklace would be a perfect gift for anyone with a late summer birthday.
Your necklace will arrive in a gift box made from recycled card, and tied with a ribbon.
