This gemstone necklace was made with a single square Indian agate and small round Peridot and Tigers eye beads. The chain is an antique bronze rolo chain and the bail used is a gorgeous ornate one.
The floral Art Nouveau pendant measures a fantastic 105 mm from bail to bottom and 62mm across and the chain is 25 inches (64cm) in length and fastens with a lobster clasp.
Peridot is the birthstone for those born in August it is a stone born of fire in molten rock and brought to the surface by earthquakes and volcanoes. It is also found in meteors :)
As a stone it is said to have the power to drive away personal darkness, it has the power to increase health, happiness, love and wealth and removes jealousy, resentment and spite.
It promotes forgiveness and alleviates guilt and is said to aid sleep.
Tigers Eye is the universal 'luck stone' reputed to attract money, it is a protective stone and is often carried as an amulet to promote creativity and ambition or combat depression.
Agate overcomes bitterness and negativity.
It heals inner anger and fosters love and the courage to start again making it useful for any kind of emotional trauma.
It increases concentration, perception and analytical abilities which can lead to practical solutions.
