This bag is hand crocheted using hemp yarn, which is a natural plant derived fibre that is very strong and sturdy and is not only suitable for Vegans but is also one of the most environmentally friendly.
The bag is 8 inches 20 cm wide and 9 inches 23 cm long.
It is striped red, golden yellow, green and black the colours often associated with Rastafari. I may be able to make it up using other colours at your request.
it has a simple popper fastening inside to prevent contents falling out.

I'd searched for weeks for British suppliers of hemp yarn when I stumbled upon it at my local wholesaler in Bristol.
Hemp is a plant derived fibre which is suitable for vegans and reputed to be one of the most environmentally friendly.
It is very strong and sturdy, ideal for making bags as they won't stretch or sag and I was delighted with the bright funky colours. They inspired me to make these Rainbow and rasta striped bags
