This bag is hand crocheted using Hemp Yarn, a natural plant derived fibre which is very strong and sturdy, ideal for bags but also one of the most environmentally friendly and suitable for Vegans.
The bag is 8 inches 20 cm wide and 9 inches 23 cm long with a long shoulder strap which is 36 inches long 92 cm.
It is striped in 7 equal colours; red, orange, yellow, green, turquoise blue, dark blue and purple, the colours of the rainbow which is often used by Gay pride.
It has a simple popper fastening to prevent contents falling out.
Postage is tracked in the UK but not overseas.

I wanted to try hemp yarn as it's a natural plant derived yarn which is not only suitable for Vegans but reputed to be one of the most environmentally friendly. After trawling the internet for weeks looking for British suppliers I was delighted to find hemp yarn at my local wholesalers in Bristol. Although it's very tough and sturdy, it's not rough and is ideal for making bags as it won't stretch or sag. It's also available in bright funky colours which inspired me to make Rainbow and Rasta striped bags.
