This bunting has been constructed using vintage green cotton items. The bunting is not factory made and the fabrics have been chosen with care. This bunting is unique. The pre-loved fabric has been made into 14 “flags” which have been sewn onto a heading of new white cotton lace. Each pendant measures approximately 22 cms wide and 12 cms high; there is a gap of approx 12 cms between each flag. The flags alternate between embroidered and plain, however, they are all finished with the same scalloped edge. The embroidery has been done by hand so when it is hung up the stitching on the one side will not look quite as good as the other. It is still a exquisite work. Someone will have put a lot hard work into producing these works of art. The total run of the bunting “flags” measures 4 meter 75 cms with an additional 34 cms of lace at each end to allow for hanging. All of these vintage items can be used inside or outside and can be washed, however, because of their age hand-washing is recommended.
