This stunning leather and freshwater pearl choker is for those days when you need a piece of jewellery that is contemporary yet made from luxurious materials. The very soft 2mm wide metallic silver leather compliments the 'near white' of the seven 7mm freshwater nugget pearls that sit in the centre of the neck on a strand of silver plated wire. The whole piece then gels together with the silver plated lobster clasp and extender chain combination. You can choose how to wear the choker as it adjusts between 13.5 inches and 15.5 inches. Stylish, stunning and affordable!
Packaged in a blue organza pouch with ivory tissue and sticker.

My inspiration for making this piece is that I adore natural looking freshwater pearls. There is nothing that comes close to the real thing. However, I think that pearls need bringing up to date and need to be put into more modern and contemporary designs. So I thought, what better way than to set them into a leather necklace. I cut four equal lengths of leather and fixed the end caps onto all four edges. I then carefully threaded the pearls onto the wire and manipulated each end into a loop. I then attached the wire loop to the end caps and the entender chain and lobster clasp to the reverse.
