Fused glass woodland scene . Quality hand crafted fused glass ornament . Stack fused 4 in square 13 layers of woodland scenery - created using enamel and glass powders on many layers to create a 3 dimensional stand alone glass piece . There is a white background that allows light to diffuse though it and then layers in black and midnight are built up to create this image . It is many hours of work and a few days in the kiln . Because of the thickness this is a very technical piece to give crystal clear glass . A really lovely woodland picture and the multiple layers of glass give the impression of walking into it . The black and reds give the iglass ornament a contemporary feel . Reduced to make way for new designs

I am surrounded by trees living near Plymbridge in Plymouth so they are a constant source of inspiration . This piece is quite difficult and complex to achieve as the scene has to be built up over many layers and the kiln firing very long over a few days . Then the piece has to be cold worked so it is shiny all around . It gives depth and 3dimension to your glass art . All of my pieces are one offs so you can be certain that it is unique as well as hand crafted . Seconds Sunday just because it was an experimental piece - there are no faults in this glass art
