This is a digital print from one of several graphite drawings in my sketchbook, inspired by the standing stones and stone circles of Britain, Ireland and France.

The intensity of the original drawing has faded as pages rubbed together over time. I've used the opportunity of scanning to digitally restore that dense black.

Now available as an open edition digital print, size 7" x 5" (18cm x 13cm) mounted to fit a 10" x 8" frame (25cm x 20cm). The mount and frame shown are software generated for illustration only. No frame is included in the price.

The image will be printed with pigment inks and archival quality matt surface art paper and supplied with a backing to the mount and in a cello bag.

I have a long standing interest in neolithic art, represented in part by places like Stonehenge or the standing stones at Carnac in Brittany, but also in less dramatic forms, like cave paintings and rock carvings.
