Kasira is a baby tiger who is being looked after by the charity Tigers4ever they build watering holes and help locals to live alongside wild tigers, they also fund anti-poaching patrols.I have observed and painted many tigers in the past, all in captivity, but Kasira is a wild tiger and the charity sent me reference photos , with permission to come up with a painting. I have sold the original round oil painting, and the image continues to help wild tigers through cards and this print. When painting her I felt a connection with the wild and the way she stares straight at you, for me makes me wonder what life she will have.....
