I was inspired by the following quote, "I sometimes see a deer passing like a shadow or staring at me from a distance from some sequestered glade." This was so evocative in my mind it really began the image I wanted to create in metal. I have on occasion met with deer on my walks in the wood and each encounter feels so magical.
