I’ve made some beeswax wraps lately, but have been thinking a lot about veganism and realised that maybe beeswax isn’t as friendly as I’d thought, so I had a dig around and found that you can swap the beeswax for soy wax and it works just as well. Hurray for the bees! And hurray for vegans who can now get on the wax wrap hype too! I’ve hand printed these myself with a friendly walrus pattern, which was inspired by the Our Planet series (did you see the walruses plight? Made me cry.) My walruses have plenty of room to stretch on their icy white background, which is why they look so happy. These wraps are a perfect way to cut down on your single use plastics such as cling film and sandwich bags, and they look adorable too. Would make a great gift for the eco conscious vegan in your life, or maybe that’s you?
