This Alder bowl would be great for putting your keys, change or jewelry in. It's not suitable for food use because of the finish. I love the difference in colour between the heartwood and the sapwood.

A Welsh woodturner sold me the wood a long time ago and it stayed in storage until I used it on my lathe to make this. I thought the design would be good for storing things.
