Inspired my love of all things bird and the welcome return of its call to the valley, I'm very happy to be adding this freestanding cuckoo sculpture to my British Birds collection.

Despite its less than favourable reputation amongst other birds, the cuckoo is often regarded with fondness and fascination by people and celebrated as a welcome herald of Spring, giving rise to a number of Spring festivals being held in its name.

I aim to make my birds as close to life size as possible. This cuckoo measures approx. 32cm from beak tip to tail.

Please note - THIS IS NOT A TOY. This is a decorative item intended for collectors aged 14 and above only. These birds are crafted over an internal wire frame and are not suitable for children.

POSTAGE AND PACKAGING
Orders under £20 are sent Royal Mail second Class. Orders £20 and over require a signature on delivery. I am usually able to post out your order sooner, but please allow up to three days for your to be shipped. If you need your order more urgently, please let me know and I will try and make arrangements for that to happen.
In the interests of the both the environment and keeping costs down for you the customer, some of the materials used in the packing of your order may be recycled.

Cuckoos are on the red list for conservation here, so it's always a joy to hear them return. Along with the curlews, their call is one that is guaranteed to raise my spirits in the Spring months as a welcome return to warmer, brighter, days....in theory!
