NEW! Glossy A5 postcards of my Goddess art pictures. Ready to frame, or send as a greetings card. Now you can buy my art for the price of a cup of coffee!
Paper collage, made mainly with Canford papers, so fade-resistant.
Though, as with all paper art, it's better not to hang it in direct, strong sunlight.
Mounted on thin white card, to give it more support, slipped into a poly-pocket, and posted in a card-backed 'Do Not Bend' envelope to protect it.
Ready for framing.
I present my pictures unframed because it makes them cheaper to post, less fragile and means that you can pick a frame that best complements your decor.
Approx. 21 x 29.5 cm (A4)
Several ancient cultures believed that Destiny was given out by 3 sister Goddesses. The Saxons called them the Wyrds. The Romans called them the Fates. By Shakespeare's time, they had become the 3 witches on the heath, whose prophecies drove Macbeth to become King. They could be seen as a version of the threefold Goddess, who is maiden, mother and crone.
In modern terms, they could be seen as Past, Present and Future - the illusions that stop us living in the reality of Now. This is a powerful image for reminding us that things often work out for the best, in totally unexpected ways!
