Mystic Coated Quartz Slice Pendant
Description
Another colour change coated quartz slice. Smaller in size than the other. If unusual & unique sums up your personality, then look no further than this quartz slice. The otherwise dull quartz has been coated with a thin layer of metallic titanium, which gives it a wonderful petrol colour effect.
Just add it to a chain, leather or cotton cord and you have an instant necklace.
The bail is made of silver plate which has been wound into an attractive spiral, and is attached to the stone with an epoxy cement. This method avoids likely splitting of the gemstone if drilled.
Relatively new and modern, the process only began around 1998, when it started to make its appearance in the gemstone jewellery world.
Clean your stone using a weak soap & water solution, and dry with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive materials.
A brilliant piece to own.
