Statement one of a kind sterling & Argentium silver pendant which I have set with a stunning blue Tigers Eye cabochon which is very chatoyant

The chain measures 171/2" & I made it to compliment the pendant. Because of the pendant weight it sits more comfortably higher up. Each link has been formed, fused and/or soldered then hammered to add texture.

The chain fastens with a simple hook

There is a total of 55.6g of silver, so quite a substantial piece.

The pendant measures approx 57mm x 55mm & the blue Tigers eye cabochon measured 31mm x 7mm before I set it in the silver bezel. I left the back open as it is well polished and deserves to be seen.

The silver surround has been hammered to add form

I love making bold pieces of jewellery. I actually spent a long time on this one, the chain alone took me 2 days of cutting/fusing/soldering/shaping/hammering/sanding and polishing!
I then spent another 3 days making the pendant itself. I don't know where the times goes!

Chatoyant: of a gem, especially when cut en cabochon, showing a band of bright lustre caused by reflection from inclusions in the stone.
