I was inspired by one of my pupils, who I was teaching to work in glass. A gentle and considerate young man, who spoke only when he had something important to say. I work with young people who have autism.
It was he who suggested the Tiger Lily to me, and I thank him for this.
I am delighted with how this picture has turned out; it is eye-catching and has a vibrant richness.
