A large flamingo hand knitted in Stylecraft Life yarn. Flossie is looking for someone that will take time to talk to her, give her nice cuddles and also take her for some fresh air on warm days.
In return, Flossie has promised to be on her best behaviour for life, not to sing (she's tone deaf) and always clean up after herself.
Flossie has been knitted to take time to a slower pace for the child/children that she goes to, no electronics or beeps or buzzes, she is a back to basics toy that 'us older' adults appreciate and hopefully so will the new generation when they learn to use their imagination :)

I wanted to make something out of the norm and I had just been watching something on tv with Flamingos in so i looked out and found pattern and yarn. I could imagine a little girl wandering around her house holding on to a foot of the flamingo dragging the rest of it behind her, and i thought how I would feel, hence sewing on the googly eyes :o)
