Medium sized small pets similar to a guinea pig in size

Features:
Totally handmade OOaK. Each pouch is individually made and each one is unique.
completely hand processed from raw fleece to finish article.
Completely natural, no chemicals, no detergents or bleaches, biodegradable, composting
materials in wool and cotton
Double walled felted pouch in Jacob and Shetland wool, lined with an extra layer of soft fleecing
Small wooden bird button.
Comes with a recycled paper wildflower seeded heart

Decorated with a simple wild flowers, the back is neutral. The pouch is felted using two layers of different wool - Ronaldsay on the outside and Shetland on the inside for softeness - during the felting process the wool intermingles so you will see there are dark grey fibers inside from the grey Ronaldsay fleece, some people may wonder what the darker fibers are. The inside is then layered separately with washed Ryeland fleece which makes a lovely bedding layer.

It is my firm belief that when you have chosen to share part of your life with an animal of any kind, when you have loved and nurtured it and it has become a part of your everyday family life, it is inevitable that there will be grief and upset when the time comes to say goodbye. For anyone to suggest you shouldn't grieve the loss of a pet I feel is not only unnatural but cruel.

There are prescribed rituals to saying good bye to loved ones, who are people but the same is not true for our animal loved ones - and it can be difficult to know exactly what to do - what feels right.

It has helped us as a family enormously when we have lost pets to have a means of wrapping our little being in something special- we wanted their final journey to be comfortable and dignified. So these pouches are made to help minimise the upset - there is something comforting about seeing your pet cosy and at peace in a pouch made for them - and it allows closure that isn't so brutal.
