Most crematoria today will return cremated remains direct to family or via the funeral director in an eco cardboard tube. Remains can then be transferred to permanent vessels such as scatter tubes, ornate urns or memorial boxes - the choice is endless.

My 'urns' are softly felted using natural Jacob fleece. Jacob sheep are a patchwork of chocolate brown and cream wool and therefore the final felted item will be completely dependent on how the wool is blended.

This pouch is embroidered with the poignant and pretty forget-me-nots and daisies and has a toggle closure made from the wood of a Maple tree, with the wool is blended to a dark marbled brown. Inside is a draw string bag made of pure white linen.

Each pouch and liner bag is hand sewn and hand decorated and the entire item is made from all natural materials.

The whole emphasis is on comforting softness - the linen and wool combination conjures the abiding imagery of sheet and blanket - like going to bed. My vessels do not have a handle - your loved one will be held securely in your arms.
