NEW! Glossy A5 postcards of my Goddess art pictures. Ready to frame, or send as a greetings card. Now you can buy my art for the price of a cup of coffee!
Paper collage, made mainly with Canford papers, so fade-resistant.
Though, as with all paper art, it's better not to hang it in direct, strong sunlight.
Mounted on thin white card, to give it more support, slipped into a poly-pocket, and posted in a card-backed 'Do Not Bend' envelope to protect it.
Ready for framing.
I present my pictures unframed because it makes them cheaper to post, less fragile and means that you can pick a frame that best complements your decor.
Approx. 21 x 29.5 cm (A4)
I was inspired to create this picture after reading Pat O'Shea's book, "The Hounds of the Morrigan." It tells the story of two Irish children who become involved with some of the characters from Irish mythology, including the Goddess Bridget, who transforms into a swan at several points in the story. I loved the idea that you could see a swan that is really a Goddess in disguise.
So I read up on Bridget, who is also a Goddess of Healing, and this picture was the result.
It would make a wonderful Get Well gift - or simply serve as a reminder that magic and miracles may always be closer than we think!
